Terms & Privacy Policy

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using LSync AI (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms & Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts & access

New accounts require approval before they can access the assistant. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the Service.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or infringing content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to process others’ personal data without a lawful basis. The assistant can make mistakes — verify important information before relying on it.

4. Your data & privacy

Your chats and usage are processed to operate, maintain, improve, and train LSync AI and its models. We do not sell your personal data.

We store your account details (name, email) and your conversation history so the Service works and so you can return to past chats. Messages you send may be routed to third-party model providers to generate responses, subject to their terms.

When you turn on web search, a search query made from your message is sent to our SearXNG metasearch service, which queries public search engines; the engines receive the query from our server, not from your device. A follow-up question, or a long first message, is first rewritten into a short search query by a cloud model (using the conversation for a follow-up). When you attach a webpage, our server fetches that public page for you and adds its text to your message.

Law mode. LSync's own law-library search, then the chat model. Your question (with the previous one for a short follow-up) is searched in the law library; the sections found and your question go to the chat model to write the answer. Law mode never searches the web.

Code mode. A fast cloud model (Groq), with LSync's own server as backup. If the coding model is unavailable, or a message includes an image, the default cloud chat model answers instead. Web search is off in Code mode. Don't paste secrets or client data into Code mode.

5. Retention & your controls

Your conversations are kept until you delete them or your account. From Settings you can export your data or delete individual chats, all chats, or your entire account. Deleting your account removes your conversations from the Service.

6. AI image editing & generation

You may only edit images you have the right to use. You may not use the image tools for: any sexual content involving minors; nude, sexualised or “undressing” edits of real people; intimate images shared without consent; deceptive fakes of real, identifiable people; forged IDs, documents, signatures or currency; removing watermarks or copyright notices; extremist or violent propaganda; or harassment.

Every request is checked automatically: the instruction, each uploaded image and each result. A request that breaks these rules is refused. We log the decision, the instruction and a fingerprint (hash) of the image, but never keep a refused image. Three refusals within 24 hours turn image features off for the account until an administrator reviews it.

The “Private” engine runs on our own server. The automated safety check may send a reduced copy of your images and your instruction to a third-party model provider. A “Fast” cloud engine, when offered, sends your image and instruction to Google and is labelled as such each time.

We remove metadata such as camera details and GPS location from uploads. Every result carries metadata stating it was made with AI by LSync AI. Uploaded images are kept for 30 days and results for 180 days, or until you delete the chat or your account. Your images are not used to train models. Each account can run up to 15 image jobs per day.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Access to stored data is limited to operating and improving the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
