Example prompt and answer (illustrative)
PDFlease-deed.pdf

Summarise this lease deed and list every clause on the lock-in period and notice, quoted.

The deed has a lock-in clause and two notice clauses. Each is quoted below with a one-line note on what it means, so you can read the original wording before relying on it.

“The Lessee shall not terminate this deed during the lock-in period…”

Quoted from lease-deed.pdf, clause 9.1

01What it does

One assistant for reading, searching and drafting.

Everything below works in LSync AI today.

  • Chat

Ask in plain language and keep the thread going. Answers come from cloud AI models through LSync's gateway, with fallbacks if one is busy and a last fallback on LSync's own server.

Every model answers as LSync AI

  • Web search with sources

Switch on Search for anything current. LSync AI searches the web through LSync's own search service and lists the web pages it was given, so you can open each one and check.

    Numbered sources under the answer

How sources appear (illustrative)

The latest policy statement is linked below as source 1, with the date it was issued. Sources 2 and 3 report the same announcement; read them against the official text.

Sources

  1. 1.Press releases: Reserve Bank of India
  2. 2.Monetary policy statement (PDF)
  3. 3.News report on the policy decision
  • Documents and images

Attach a PDF, Word file, text, Markdown or CSV and ask about it. Share a screenshot, scan or photo and ask what it shows.

    PDF · DOCX · TXT · MD · CSV · images

  • Image editing

Describe the change in words and LSync AI edits the picture. Every request passes safety checks on the instruction, the upload and the result.

    Up to 768 px · a few minutes · 15 a day

  • Private engine on LSync's server

Image edits run on LSync's own server with the Private engine (FLUX.2 klein), not on a cloud image service. Location and camera details are removed from photos uploaded for editing.

Images you edit, and the results, are not used to train models

  • Set up the way you work

Write custom instructions once (your role, tone, preferred format) and every chat follows them. Past chats stay in the sidebar, in light or dark.

Code mode

Code mode is answered by a fast cloud model (Groq), with LSync's own server as backup. If neither is available, or your message includes an image, the default cloud model answers instead. Web search is off in Code mode. Don't paste secrets or client data into Code mode.

02Who it's for

Made for the everyday work of Indian professionals.

Three things each group can do with LSync AI this week, using features that exist today.

Not legal or tax advice. Check the source.

Chartered Accountants and tax practitioners

  1. 01Attach a client's notice or letter as a PDF and get a plain summary of what it asks for and by when.
  2. 02Drop in a ledger or bank-statement export as CSV and get a list of entries worth checking against the books.
  3. 03Draft a client email that explains a change in plain language, with web search pulling up the official page to cite.

Lawyers and legal teams

  1. 01Attach an agreement (PDF or DOCX) and list every clause on termination, indemnity and notice, quoted.
  2. 02Paste two versions of a clause and get a plain list of what changed between them.
  3. 03Turn rough notes from a client call into a clean first draft of a letter or file note.

Finance and accounts teams at SMEs

  1. 01Summarise a month's expense export (CSV) by category and flag entries to double-check.
  2. 02Draft payment reminders that stay polite but firm, for each stage of follow-up.
  3. 03Turn a variance table into a short note the owner or the board can read in a minute.

Developers and IT teams

  1. 01Paste an error and its stack trace and get likely causes and fixes to try.
  2. 02Get a line-by-line explanation of an unfamiliar script, config file or SQL query.
  3. 03Draft a README, a runbook step or an incident summary from your notes.

Students: CA, CS, CMA, law and engineering

  1. 01Attach your study material and ask for a simpler explanation of a hard topic, with an example.
  2. 02Turn chapter notes into practice questions, then check your answers.
  3. 03Search the web for a topic and get sources you can open, read and cite.

Founders and small businesses

  1. 01Draft a proposal, a job post or a customer reply from a few bullet points.
  2. 02Edit a product photo for a listing: a cleaner background, a tidier frame.
  3. 03Attach a vendor contract and list the points to raise with your lawyer before you sign.

Privacy-sensitive teams

  1. 01Edit images on LSync's own server; photos you upload for editing have location and camera details removed.
  2. 02Export your data as a JSON file (account, custom instructions, saved memories, conversations, ratings and shared links), or delete one chat, all chats or the whole account, from Settings.
  3. 03Read the “what runs where” table below before a pilot, so you know which parts use cloud models.

03Illustrative examples

How it fits into a working week.

These are illustrative scenarios written to show the features, not customer stories.

Not legal or tax advice. Check the source.

  • Illustrative example

A small CA practice in filing season

    Situation
Clients send notices, statements and questions by email, and the partners answer the same kinds of question again and again.
    How they used LSync AI
They attach each PDF and ask what it asks for and by when, then draft the reply in the firm's tone, set once in custom instructions. Web search pulls up the official page to cite.
    What it made easier
Replies start from a draft instead of a blank page, so the partners spend their time on judgement and checking.
  • Illustrative example

An in-house legal team at a manufacturer

    Situation
Sales sends contracts for a quick look, often wanting an answer the same day.
    How they used LSync AI
The lawyer attaches the DOCX and asks for every clause on termination, liability and renewal, quoted, with a one-line note on each.
    What it made easier
The review starts from a map of the clauses, and the lawyer still reads every clause that matters.
  • Illustrative example

The accounts team at a growing distributor

    Situation
At month end the owner wants a short explanation of where the money went.
    How they used LSync AI
They attach the expense export as a CSV, ask for a summary by category and a list of entries to double-check, then draft the note in the same chat.
    What it made easier
The note starts from a structured draft, and the team checks every figure against the books before it goes out.
  • Illustrative example

    A founder selling online

    Situation
Product photos need cleaner backgrounds for a marketplace listing, and there is no designer on staff.
    How they used LSync AI
She describes the change and LSync AI edits each photo on LSync's own server, then drafts the listing copy in the same conversation.
    What it made easier
Photos and copy come together in one place, without another tool to learn.

04Trust and privacy

What runs where, in plain words.

The short version is below. The full terms are in Terms & Privacy.

Your account and chat history
LSync's own server.
Export your data from Settings as a JSON file: account, custom instructions, saved memories, conversations, ratings, shared links and usage counts. Delete one chat, all chats or the whole account there too; deleting the account removes its conversations.
Chat answers
Cloud AI models through LSync's gateway (by default an open model hosted on Cloudflare), with a last fallback on LSync's own server.
Your messages go to the model provider to produce the answer and are handled under that provider's terms. Under the Terms & Privacy, chats may be used to improve and train LSync AI and its models.
Memory
Saved on LSync's own server.
The facts you save are added to each chat and sent with it to the cloud chat model. Turn memory off, or clear it, in Settings. Temporary chats never use it.
Shared links
A read-only copy on LSync's own server.
Anyone with the link can open the copy until you revoke it or it expires. Revoke links from the chat's Share menu or Settings.
Web search
LSync's own search service (SearXNG), which queries public search engines.
A follow-up question, or a long first message, is first rewritten into a short search query by a cloud model (using the conversation for a follow-up). Pages that come back are passed to the model as reference material, marked as untrusted, and the model is told not to follow instructions inside them.
Documents you attach
Text is extracted on LSync's own server.
The extracted text is sent with your question to the chat model, marked as untrusted data.
Webpages you attach
Fetched by LSync's own server (public addresses only).
The page's text is sent with your question to the cloud chat model, marked as untrusted data.
Images you attach to a chat
Read by the cloud chat model, with your question.
Images you attach to a chat for the model to read are sent to the cloud chat model as uploaded and kept with that chat until you delete it.
Image editing
LSync's own server, with the Private engine.
Photos uploaded for editing have location and camera details removed. Automated safety checks may send a reduced copy and your instruction to a model provider. Uploads are kept 30 days and results 180 days, or until you delete the chat or your account. Images you edit, and the results, are not used to train models.
Law mode
LSync's own law-library search, then the chat model.
Your question (with the previous one for a short follow-up) is searched in the law library; the sections found and your question go to the chat model to write the answer. Law mode never searches the web.
Code mode
A fast cloud model (Groq), with LSync's own server as backup.
If the coding model is unavailable, or a message includes an image, the default cloud chat model answers instead. Web search is off in Code mode. Don't paste secrets or client data into Code mode.

Guardrails

  • An admin approves every new account before it can chat.
  • Every image request is checked three times: the instruction, each upload and each result. A refused image is never kept.
  • Three refused image requests within 24 hours switch image features off for that account until an admin reviews it.
  • Every edited image carries metadata saying it was made with AI.
  • LSync AI can make mistakes. Check what matters against the source; it is not legal or tax advice.

06Questions

Asked plainly, answered plainly.

Is this legal or tax advice?
No. LSync AI is an assistant, not a lawyer, chartered accountant or tax adviser, and it can be wrong or out of date. Use it to read, find and draft faster, then check anything important against the source and with a qualified professional.
Which AI model answers me?
By default an open model hosted on Cloudflare, reached through LSync's gateway. If it is busy, fallback models take over, and the last fallback runs on LSync's own server. Whichever model answers, it answers as LSync AI. LSync did not train these models; it runs and configures the service around them.
Where are my conversations kept?
On LSync’s own server. Your messages are sent to the model provider to produce each answer and are handled under that provider’s terms. Images you attach to a chat go to the chat model as uploaded and stay with that chat until you delete it. Under the Terms & Privacy, chats may be used to improve and train LSync AI and its models.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. In Settings you can export your data as a JSON file (account, custom instructions, saved memories, conversations, ratings, shared links and usage counts), delete one chat or all of them, or delete your account. Deleting the account removes its conversations, and deleting a chat removes the images in it.
What can I attach?
Documents: PDF, Word (DOCX), plain text, Markdown and CSV (also TSV, log and JSON files). Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF, to ask what they show.
How does image editing work?
Attach a photo, describe the change, and LSync AI edits it on LSync's own server with the Private engine (FLUX.2 klein). Results are up to 768 px. An edit usually takes about 5 minutes at 512 px and about 7 minutes at 768 px, longer with several images or when others are in the queue; the app shows a live estimate. Each account can run 15 image jobs a day, and every request passes automated safety checks.
Why does a new account need approval?
An admin approves each new account before it can chat, so the service stays with real users. Until then you will see an “awaiting approval” page.
What are Law mode and Code mode?
Law mode answers from a library of Indian Acts and Rules and cites the section; it is not legal or tax advice. Code mode is answered by a fast cloud model (Groq), with LSync's own server as backup. If neither is available, or your message includes an image, the default cloud model answers instead. Web search is off in Code mode. Don't paste secrets or client data into Code mode.
